TYSON

Tyson soaked up the sunshine on his adventure walk today, and even had a little photo shoot along the way! 📸 The more time we spend with him, the more he captures all of our hearts.

Ready as ever to find his forever home, this is what we have learned about him so far:
🐾He is FULL of sweetness and it’s impossible not to be happy around him
🐾He will give you a big frown if you do not give him enough attention – but sits patiently waiting for it!
🐾He loves to be around people and gives the best kisses
🐾 Treats are the key to his heart

MOLLY

This loving girl just arrived to the shelter. She is approximately 2-3 years old. She is very food motivated, incredibly sweet and she’s already showing us what a loving companion she could be as she loves to stick to your side. While working with her, we did notice she can be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. In her eyes, she is also in a new place with new faces and she has no idea why her world just drastically changed.
Since she has just arrived, we have not dog or cat tested her yet and will be doing so soon. More updates to come!
Molly has been spending a few days out of the shelter to let her decompress. We have learned so much about her during this time.
She loves to go to the park and splash pad. There were some geese and other dogs at the park, which she did not react to (and even proceeded to get on her back to show her belly)! Molly is very comfortable in houses and will nap easily. She is potty trained. She loves her toys and to play ball. Car rides are still new to her and she needs to get used to them more. She is eager to learn and will listen to you too. Molly is very food motivated.
This big, big world is still so new to her and she needs some patience. All she needs is someone to take a chance on her and show her the ropes of life. Everyone at the shelter can all vouch for just how sweet this girl is. A HUGE thank you to the volunteers that are getting her out of the shelter while she waits for a foster or adopter to take her 🫶

MEADOW

Meadow is ready to leave shelter life behind and find the forever home she’s been waiting for. She is around 3–4 years old. She may be a little shy at first but give her a little time and you’ll see just how sweet and loving she truly is. A cozy spot on the couch, a ball to play with, and long walks are her absolute favorite. The best part? She is dog and cat friendly!
Meadow would thrive in a patient, loving home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. Once she does, she’ll reward you with companionship and a lot of cuddles. She’s been waiting in the shelter since January 2026 and we know her perfect match is out there.

FOXY

Foxy was in foster last week and we were able to learn so much about her. 💛

She is great in her crate. No accidents in the house at all! Foxy loves her sleep and will sleep all night in her dog bed. She can be timid of new people but she will warm up to you. She is very people friendly with anyone she trusts. She was cat tested and she did okay but will need to understand them more. We are still dog testing her to see if shes selective with any dogs. Leash training is going well and she’s understanding more how to walk on a leash correctly. She does not pick up anything in the house, not even her own toys.
Foxy is still scared of being in cars and will need more work with that. She also is still learning how to play with toys.

Foxy has been through a lot in her life and she will need a lot of positive reinforcement and gentle correction. All she wants is connection and to cuddle with you. If you believe Foxy would be a good fit for you and you would like to meet her, please visit

STAR

Hi! My name is Star ⭐️, and I have a very important question. Do you happen to have room on your couch? Because if you do, I’d like to claim approximately 97% of it. And your lap. And your heart.

I’m about a year old, and people think I’m a Pit Bull/Chocolate Lab mix. Personally, I think I’m the perfect mix of goofy, cuddly, and adorable. I have lots of energy, so I love being outside, exploring, and if you have a hammock? Oh, we’ll be best friends. But once I’ve gotten my zoomies out, I’m happiest curled up right next to my favorite person. They call me a “Velcro dog,” but I just think personal space is overrated.
When I meet new people, I can be a little shy. But if you happen to have a tasty treat, we’ll probably become besties in no time. I just like to make sure you’re one of the good ones before I hand over my whole heart, which, fair warning, happens pretty quickly.
I’m great with kids, and while the cat can make me a little anxious sometimes, I don’t usually chase him. We try to agree to respectfully mind each other’s business.
I’m crate trained, potty trained (I do appreciate a friendly reminder when it’s time to head outside), and I already know how to sit! I’m also working really hard on learning “shake.” I’m a smart girl, I just need someone who’s patient and willing to help me keep learning!
I should probably confess something. If you leave me unsupervised for too long, there’s a decent chance I’ll investigate the garbage can or decide your couch pillows look like they need a little remodeling. I’m young, curious, and I occasionally make questionable life choices. But I promise I’m worth it!
More than anything, I’m looking for a family who will love me as much as I’m ready to love them. Give me a little consistency, a little patience, and a whole lot of unconditional love, and I’ll spend every day reminding you that choosing me was the best decision you ever made.
So… what do you think? If you agree we should go pick out our favorite spot on the couch, the humans say you should get in touch with Southern Tier Animal Control and ask about me, Star!

Are you the perfect match for this gorgeous girl

DUNKIN

Dunkin recently arrived at the shelter and the staff/volunteers have been getting to know him. He is around 1-1.5 years, so he has a lot of energy still as a younger pup! He loves to go on walks and will sit when you give him a treat. Loud noises are not his favorite so a calm house would be ideal for him. He is not cat friendly. Dunkin seems to be dog selective too so a meet and greet would be required. Treats are the way to his heart

As you can see Dunkin is not camera shy
